Haridwar-Rishikesh Tour

Haridwar is regarded as a holy place for Hindus. it is situated on the right bank of the holy Ganga and is famous among the seven sacred cities of India. According to Hindu mythology, Haridwar is one of the four places where the drops of Amrita, accidentally spilled over from the pitcher or Kumbha, in which it was being carried away by Garuda, the vehicle of Lord Vishnu. It is, therefore, one of the four venues where the Kumbh Mela. Haridwar is also the place where the river Ganga enters the Indo-Gangetic plains for the first time. 

Rishikesh has a spectacular view of jungle-clad hills. Rishikesh has also a confluence of River Ganges and Chandrabhaga. The glorious attraction of Rishikesh is the great river the Ganges, running rapidly throughout the city. In ancient times so many yogis, rishis, and sages attracted to Rishikesh to practice yoga because of its peaceful location, This is the reason, Rishikesh has known as an abode of sages.

Itinerary

Day 1Delhi - Haridwar

Take a drive to Haridwar, Reach Haridwar, Hotel Checkin. In Evening Visit Ganga Ghat, Attend Ganga Aarti.

Day 2Haridwar Sightseen

Early in the morning take a bath in the river Ganga and back to the Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast move for darshan of various holy temples: Mansa Devi temple, Chandi Devi temple, Maya Devi temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Sapta Rishi temple, and others. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 3Haridwar - Rishikesh

After breakfast, move for a small journey towards Rishikesh and check-in at Hotel. In the Morning Hours move for rafting and other adventure activities. In the Evening visit Ram Jhoola, Laxman Jhoola, Neelkand Mahadev, and other pilgrimages places. Overnight at Rishikesh.

Day 4Rishikesh - Shukratal - Delhi

In the Morning, take packed Breakfast and move towards Shukratal. Shukratal is the place where Sukadeva Goswami spoke the sacred Srimad-Bhagavatam (Bhagavata Purana) to Maharaja Pariksit 5000 years. Take lunch in between the route and reach Delhi. Till evening.
